Thank you for your interest in submitting to the 5th annual West End Comedy Festival! Submissions open August 15th.

Early bird submisssion price is $30. Submission fee increases to $40 on September 1st. You must pay the submission fee by Venmo to @hissyfitcomedy or here on our website to be considered. Selection emails will go out on or around November 30th.

• The festival will take place March 6-8, 2025. Each selected performer will receive 2-3 shows if they attend multiple days of the festival. If you aren’t able to attend multiple days, we will do our best to try to get you on 2 shows.

• Comics must be 21 years of age by the date of the festival.

• All comics must complete a submission form and pay the submission fee to be eligible.

  Submission fees are non-refundable. Any submissions received without paying the submission fee will not be considered.

• Tapes must be at least 3 minutes long. Our panel will watch 3 minutes of your tape and you can provide a time stamp for the 3 minutes they watch.

• Tapes should not be set to private or password protected. Unlisted tapes are fine.

• Tapes must be a continuous set and cannot be a “best of” highlights reel.

• Tapes should begin and end with your jokes, so make sure the 3 minutes you select doesn’t include intros or host sets.

• All submissions must be original material written and performed by you.

• All submissions must be received by 11:59 PM on November 1st.

• Selected performers will be announced on or around November 30th.

Comics accepted into West End Comedy Fest will receive

• At least 2 performances

• Hotel (shared room with 1 comic of same gender)

• Free Professional Headshots by Lola Scott

• Festival T-Shirt and Swag Bag

• After parties planned by younger comics in the scene because we are old.

• Food/Drinks

• Bowling and lunch social event with all fest comics

• Other stuff we’ll think of later
